The Ecuadorian strain of Psilocybe cubensis is a thick stemmed psilocybin producing mushroom that is a very aggressive producer of mushrooms in the wild, and was originally found at 1100+ m of altitude in the Highlands Region of Ecuador. Ecuador cubensis is as robust as mushrooms come, no surprise there, it comes from a region that is known for being quite rough in terms of its environment and this is what makes its cultivation easier. This strain has been around about as long as the internet has, and is very stable, very reliable. It is one of the best choices for beginners at microscopy.
